these are things that obama really didn't have a response for. and again he should have because mitt romney's been telegraphing this for the past year. it was a big disappointment for people watching. >> and in fact, melissa, the president even said, well, i -- i'll adopt that term obamacare. he agreed with it. >> reporter: he seems to really enjoy it. it's there for better or worse anyway. i can tell you inside the the media room, there were lots of interesting things happening. again lots of international media there people from china, france, germany, an exciting place to be last night. i think obama though knew that something was off. his final two-minute speech was really deflated really flatfooted and i spoke to several security guards right after the debate who told me that obama jetted out very, very quickly after the debate was over even more quickly than he was scheduled to actually. so maybe it was because he was eager to get on with his anniversary celebration but he clearly did not wish to be in the debate hall for one second longer
